Dresses may be the hardest item to shop for when it comes to us petite ladies. Choose classic sheaths or other styles that come straight down no lower than your knees. A structured straight dress is always the best for adding height. And again, make sure that it fits well.
Simple and classic styles that are structured and feminine colors are the best choices for us petite ladies. Anything to frilly or boldly printed will overwhelm us. After all, we want our clothes to accent who we are, not hide us completely. So go with feminine colors as well as solid dark colors.
When shopping for any type of clothing, keep in mind that form fitting clothes are the best. Baggy clothes will only serve to hide our bodies. Every petite woman should seek out a gifted tailor, as form fitting clothes are hard to come by and highly necessary for us.
